JOB PROFILE : SALES MANAGER (PREFERABLY INDIAN)
LOCATION : KENYA, ZAMBIA, TANZANIA, GHANA
INDUSTRY : PESTICIDES
SALARY : AS PER EXPERIENCE
- We are looking for who can manage the overall business of pesticides including sales, marketing, inventory management and organizational development in required areas.
- Prepared sales target, budgets, reports, forecasts and territory performance reports and timely presented to HO (Dubai)
- Developed channel sales network of pesticides dealers and retailers
- Carried out promotional activities through Rural Fairs, Government organized activities / fairs – Liaison with various government authorities.
Job Type: Full-time
You Will Be Responsible For
- Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Setting weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets for the team and driving them to achieve these.
- Building a high performing team by providing strong mentorship, coaching and guidance.
- Managing a team of 1-5 people.
- You have at least 10 years experience within a Business Development / Account Manager (B2B) role, ideally within the Chemicals industry.
- You have prior experience in dealing with Distributors, Dealers, General Trade / Open Trade, Key Accounts and Modern Trade.
- You possess solid expertise in Direct Sales.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
- You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
